In the UAE, the Moral Education Programme (MEP) provides an excellent curriculum that helps develop within young people universal principles and values. It aids us in cultivating moral and ethical values.
During the introductory session on April 14th, we discussed morals and values like self-control, responsibility and leadership, followed by a discussion on character and morality in the session on April 28th. We talked about morality and what makes someone a good person. We discussed various global ethical challenges and how to solve them, in the session held on May 5th. Every class had their own discussion on ethical issues.
The Moral Education Programme is essential to our curriculum because it teaches us the soft skills that we need to know while also developing our character. Some of the soft skills we imbibe are leadership, self-control, morality, ethics and so on.
Talking about common global issues and how to solve them helped to improve our innovative skills while also teaching us about the world’s problems. Such discussions provide us with an in-depth guide to becoming a model citizen.
These classes have also taught us values such as empathy, generosity and kindness. They have made us fully aware of current events, the ways in which societies helps one another, and much more. The MEP classes have also provided us with an excellent analysis of UAE’s history and the process by which people will prosper. It has taught us the value of teamwork and has assisted us in gaining a thorough understanding of ethics and the standards of conduct that we must follow in order to be a productive member of society.
Finally, MEP is an excellent way to educate us on the values and morals that are required of global citizens. MEP classes are always enjoyable, informative and interactive, and we are always left with a lot of valuable insight at the end of each session.
