Inter-House competitions are back and better than ever! Another year of challenging competitions, entertainment, and play—but above all, house pride and allegiance! Everyone got the chance to participate in tryouts for sports like tennis and basketball, quizzes, and the Inter-House Music Competition, to name a few. The senior school team’s ninth graders competed against the best of the best to secure a spot on the House teams for the tournaments this year.
We learned all pertinent information about the chosen houses during our individual house meetings, which provided a great opportunity to demonstrate our knowledge of a particular subject and our devotion to our house. Everyone could find something to interest them, whether they were avid readers, athletes, or even aspiring musicians!
I have dabbled in tennis and table tennis and am excited to compete and represent my house, the ninth graders had to battle against the best of the best to secure a spot on the House teams for this year’s tournaments.
Some people succeeded, and others vowed to work even harder the next time. Everyone eventually caught on to the house spirit and plainly learned from their experiences.
