Craving pizza, but skeptical about going out and eating due to the pandemic? Worry not! Here is a simple recipe to make a delicious pizza, at home!

Ingredients:

All-Purpose Flour – 500 grams

Salt – 1 tsp

Yeast – 2 tsp/ 7 grams

Warm Water – 325 ml

Pizza Sauce – 125 ml

Cheese – whole/shredded 300 grams

Basil Leaves – 5 to 6 

Semolina/Breadcrumbs – as a base for lining

Herbs 

Procedure:

To make the dough:-

Add yeast in warm water. Mix well.

Mix flour and salt and put in the yeast water. Mix it well. Pull, fold and mix. (Add flour if necessary).

Cut into 4 pieces with a knife. Roll each into balls.

Take a tray, put some semolina/breadcrumbs, and let the dough balls rest on it.

Put a little flour on top and cover for at least two hours with a damp cloth. (dough ball will double in volume soon)

To make the pizza:- Start by making a round shape with the dough. Pull gently. (if there is a hole, pull dough from the sides and cover the hole)

Make round edges by pressing the circular corners and thicken the sides.

Now, add pizza sauce, drizzle olive oil, add salt, add the cheese and sprinkle some basil leaves on top. Drizzle olive oil again.

Add semolina on baking tray and put the pizza on it.

Bake in the oven for 7 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
