Grade 9

The milestone assembly for our current ninth graders really helped show how proud we are of our students for powering through the pandemic, and going above and beyond in finding ways to be productive and accomplish new things. Regardless of the challenging circumstances, they found ways to meet outstanding goals and have achieved so much this past year, and we are immensely glad that we got the chance to showcase and celebrate it. We even had numerous students come up and perform songs and dances as well as play the guitar and piano, which got everyone in a cheery spirit. I’m so grateful to have been a part of putting the assembly together and helping to give students the recognition they deserve for the hard work they’ve put in over the past year. I’m thrilled to be a part of this batch of overachievers.

Grade 10

The past year has been full of hurdles and complications, but the students of grade 10 have been successful in dodging every obstacle in their path. To commemorate the achievements and milestones of our students, a special Milestone Assembly was held on Thursday, 21st January 2020.

We had many noteworthy initiatives started by our students. The ‘Together We Can’ campaign helped schools in the hilly regions of Himachal Pradesh by donating books, clothes, stationery and more. We also had the ‘Adopt A Grandparent’ initiative which enabled our students to converse and interact with grandparents and senior citizens who lived in an old age shelter in Delhi, started by Mr. Ravi Kalra. We also had our students volunteer at a pet shelter, Animals and Us, started by our very own Ms. Michelle Francis. The students helped bathe the dogs, repaint the walls and redecorate the shelter. We also had Riva Tulpule who single handedly recycled over 25 tons of e-waste and old electronic items. She was interviewed by Gulf News as well.

It has been quite an eventful year and we could not be prouder of our students. It isn’t easy to go through a pandemic in your board year while still accomplishing all they have. We hope to see the same spirit of hope and faith in the new year and look forward to see many more milestones crossed in 2021.
