THE WHAT’S UP MODCAST
Captivated by negativity during isolation, three 9th graders choose to take an unorthodox path and create an outlet for entertainment and opportunity in our school. A podcast representing the entire school!
What is the What’s up Modcast?
As the name suggests, this podcast represents our school. The usage of “ modcast” , represent the identity of our podcast. An outlet for entertainment, knowledge and opportunity, this podcast is a getaway from boredom, stress , and all round negativity. Hosted by three 9th graders – Advait Rajeev, Govind Nayanar and Arjun Varma , this domain consists of interviews with A- list cricketers , celebrities, and alumni. This show also consists of humorous game segments with the three hosts, showcasing their chemistry.

EPISODE | GUESTS AND TALK |
1st EPISODE | TRENT BOULT –a cricketer for the New Zealand international team, and bowler for Mumbai Indians. We asked Mr Boult, about his experiences as a cricketer, and the fun times he’s had during his career. |
2nd EPISODE | Aryan Kapoor and Vaishnav Rajkumar- two graduates from Modern were brought on the show, and asked about how our school moulded them into the scholars they are today. They had also participated in a humorous rap segment . |
3rd EPISODE 4th EPISODE | SANJU SAMSON- another renowned cricketer was brought on the show. A player for India and numerous IPL teams. We asked Mr Samson, about how he reacted when he heard that he was getting into the Indian international team, and about his upbringing. KAVISHA KUMARI – an Indian cricketer who was selected for the U.A.E women’s cricket team at the age of 11. She had given our viewers valuable feedback on life’s journeys and on career pathways. Stay tuned in next week, where we will be interviewing Mr Ravi Kalra, and our senior school student-activist, Asmi Choudhary, on their recent success –ADOPT A GRANDPARENT. |
