Responsible. Reliable. Resolute. These are the three words which defines every teacher at Modern. I have always seen the ones who educate us as unwavering pillars of strength and knowledge, however, I was pleasantly surprised to see them in a completely different light this teacher’s day 2020.
The day kicked off with an assembly by the students which resonated our appreciation and love for our teachers. It was definitely a successful event, with segments such as a skit, meme review, dancing and some friendly competition between students and teachers.
It was adorable to see the primary monitors ensuring that the teachers followed safety protocols. The prayer song, ‘The Prayer’ set the tone and left the audience mesmerized.
I have to say that the students of the senior school planned an incredible assembly that everyone could enjoy, even the ones watching from home.
It was really inspiring to see our teachers who have guided us through our childhood and shaped us into fully blossomed adults, genuinely having fun and leaving their cares behind. There we peels of excitement and cheer when each of them received a surprise gift, presented by the senior management. On that note, I’d like to wish all our teachers a very Happy Teachers’ Day once again.
