The ICS International Painting Competition is a unique initiative to help nurture and encourage budding artists in the formative years of their academic life which aids them in recognizing and honing their innate talents, empowering them to make a statement in the world of art.
The theme for this year’s painting competition, which was open to students from Grades 8-12 was A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever.
The Freshman Chronicles is proud to showcase 2 of the 5 entries chosen from across the school to be exhibited at the ICS Campus. We present to you Inner Beauty by Avishi Bhalla and A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever by Aadhya Sharma both from Grade 9.

In other related news, what began as an assignment on creating art using various textures culminated in a video which is nothing short of breathtaking. Durva Ramnathkar of 9B shares her expertise and outstanding work to serve as an inspiration to us all on how to just have fun with assignments. We’re sure you’ll agree that the playlist adds to the fun, with each background track perfectly complementing the texture in use.
