On September 22, 2023, a the EIP (entrepreneurship and innovation program) unfolded at GMA, sparking creativity and ambition among young minds. Teams in grade 9 (round 1) and the top 15 teams from last year’s program in grade 10 (round 2) presented solutions and ideas to help tackle problems; ideas that have the potential to create change. Adonia Uniyal, a tenth grader who participated in the second round, said that “My EIP experience was not only unique, but it also taught me the value of teamwork and communication. It was great showcasing the project we had worked so hard on and to see our accomplishments.” The event aimed to cultivate the spirit of entrepreneurship among students of our school. The teams went on a journey by empathizing, ideating and finally coming to a solution; a journey which helped them hone skills crucial for the business world—problem-solving, critical thinking, and effective collaboration. The judges (including GMA alumni) from diverse industries guided the students, providing insights and constructive criticism. The event showcased a fusion of youthful zeal and business acumen, emphasizing that innovation knows no age. The program not only fostered a culture of innovation but also sowed the seeds of future leaders. GMA’s commitment to nurturing young entrepreneurs promises a brighter, inventive tomorrow; and its investment in these students paves the way for tomorrow’s trailblazers.
