Four student – delegates (two of whom are freshmen, Parv and Sachit) from Modern had been shortlisted for the Global Innovation Challenge and XCelerator competition by GemsX.
However, before this competition, all of them had the chance to attend bootcamps scheduled on the 12th and 13th of May online from 9 am to 4 pm. In this bootcamp, students learned about having an Entrepreneurial Mindset, Go-to-Market strategies and information about patents and other copyright information before acting upon the idea and selling it. They also had the chance to interview an entrepreneur who herself had been inventing and selling her products and ask about her journey and her challenges and what she did to overcome them. They also learnt how to pitch their ideas and ensure that the investors invest in their idea.
They will now be pitching their projects on the 18th and 19th of May to leading experts.
