The preliminary rounds of the Inter class debates was recently hosted for the pupils of grade 9. All sections of the grade participated and was represented by a team of three students.
The preliminary rounds took place during ICE (Integrated Curricular enrichment) on Thursday and students excitedly competed not only for the overall prize but also for the thrill and experience of a debate.
A week later, on 23rd May 2022, the long awaited finals of the Inter-class debate took place in the auditorium. All students of Grade 9 watched this wonderful debate between the two finalists. The winners of the final debate was Grade 9F– a confident team comprising of Vedanth Agarwal, Spriha Pandey and Shiven Seth. Both teams did exceptionally well. The winning class celebrated and every member of side opposition and proposition was honored and awarded.
Ishani Shetty commented, “The inter class debate was an enlightening experience that promoted the participants to think critically. It elevated the public speaking skills of the participants and was an invaluable experience for the aspiring debaters.”
