On September 14th every year, Hindi Divas is observed nation-wide. This day is celebrated to promote Hindi and to spread awareness about the language.
This year, it was a pleasure to see not only Hindi but also French students of our school engaging and participating in the competitions which were held for Hindi Divas 2020. The assembly was coordinated and planned beautifully by the IB and Grade 10 students which set the tone of the day and the celebration of the language.
The online activities which were organized by the department were conducted with aplomb and the participants wowed the audience and judges with their eloquence and talent.
Grades 7-9 made attractive posters on the theme अनेकता में एकता भारत की विशेषता. They also participated in a speech competition.
Grades 10, IB1 and IB2 took part in an essay writing competition on the topic विश्व स्तर पर हिन्दी भाषा का बढता महत्तव.
The winners will be announced next week. Fingers crossed!
