On never to stop dreaming
In the darkness of the damp night,
Sorrow came to me with a silent scream
He bought with him a tote,
In it a heap of my broken dreams
A dramatic display of my failures
He tried to plunge deep into me.
But my soul was soaked in self-belief
Pushing him away I closed my eyes
So I could dream again and this time give it wings!
