The life full of constant run,
The life having little fun,
When the sweet home saw us only overnight,
And missed us all during the entire day light,
But, one day that hustle bustle rippled away,
When our “Dear Mr. Lockdown” came into play.
“Stay home to stay safe” is what he taught us,
Closer to each other he surely brought us.
Ill health, no househelp and more complex chores; conditions were tougher all around,
But caring calming voices, would lovingly resound.
School, office, celebrations, recreations – all on video calls; things still seemed sound,
The world, lifestyle and Us; all anew have we found.
Hope we learn to cohabit the earth and make it safer,
May the coming times be brighter, healthier and happier! 😊
