Covid 19, is an enemy the whole world is battling with. This is a pandemic we need to tackle as a community. Although this can tempt us to fall prey to panic as we are reminded of our fragile humanity, it is also an opportunity to learn the lessons it must teach us.
Man being a social animal loves to be surrounded with family and friends. Today we are forced to stay home, to stay safe. Its family time – a time to revive nostalgia. Time to find happiness inside homes. Time to go deep inside oneself. Time to dig out old hobbies, be it reading, writing, creating music albums; all that we have put aside for so long. We got to listen deeply, exercise daily, meditate wilfully and pray sincerely.
Life mechanism of modern day living has created a lot of stress in our lives. An urge to excel in the competitive world has drawn many families to fall apart. The harsh reality is that in order to secure better futures, many children across the globe have been deprived of quality time spent with their parents. In the pursuit of degrees and professions, many parents are drawn miles between them and their children. The entire world was rushing in haste which has come to a halt in the last few months.
It is a time of extreme havoc, agony and frustration all over the world but we have got to see the positivity. Quality time is being spent within the family. Social distancing being the need of the hour, people are beginning to think differently and giving the importance to all that they so far took for granted.
Like every other adversity this hardship too shall pass. Humanity, love and compassion will definitely overpower this enemy and bring complete healing to our world. It will mark the beginning of new dreams and new priorities.
