This article is a special one, written to motivate all the youngsters out there who find reasons to grumble and complain about their circumstances, especially in the current situation. Intrigued? Read on for a glimpse into the life of a very interesting 65-year-old…
Hi boys and girls, I am Rachael’s grandmother, Elza Thomas. It is a privilege to get a chance to write about my hobby during the lockdown.
As I am over 65 years of age, I am restricted from going out. With no mental stimulation, I soon got tired of doing all the mundane chores and routine housework.
One day, while cleaning some shelves, I found a few stitching kits. They took me to another world. I got down to work and before long, I had finished stitching twelve pictures.
My mental health improved; I was a happier person doing what I enjoyed most. The pandemic became a blessing in disguise. Some samples of my work are exhibited below.
I hope you too learn to invest in a passion and spend your time productively.
