A Climate Assembly for Action and Change
A climate change school assembly provides a powerful platform for educating and inspiring students to act against climate change. By raising awareness, showcasing real-world impacts, and exploring solutions, schools can empower students to make informed decisions and become advocates for a sustainable future.
On 2nd May, the students of 10A organized an assembly on the pressing topic of climate change. Through a short play, they portrayed the harmful effects of the Willow Project, which is an ongoing commercial act, taking place in the USA to drill out oil from the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska. Although this project will boost economic affairs, it will take a severe toll on the state of the Earth. They spoke about the negative outcome it would have if one did not raise awareness.
The play included an insightful poem, a song, and a dance that touched our hearts. It was a spectacular student initiative on an extremely crucial topic.
Through collective efforts, schools can nurture environmentally conscious individuals who will actively contribute to mitigating climate change and creating a more sustainable world for generations to come.
